Hey there

Can anyone help. I have been an Outlook 2001 user under classic for
about 6 months. Not made the leap to IMAP and Entourage just yet. All
was working well until last week when I could not synch my inbox. Get
the following error. Corporate IT guys cannot help. Wonder if someone
here can.

11:44:51 Synchronizing Folder 'Inbox'
11:45:05 Error synchronizing folder
11:45:05 [80000008-501-0-550]
11:45:05 The client operation failed.
11:45:05 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

I can syn ch everything else, except the Inbox.

Any suggestion woul dbe gratefully accepted.

Hi Ritesh!

Ask your administrator to set up a PC to sync to your account. If you
continue to have this problem with the PC, the problem is on the server side
and your IT folks will need to resolve it. It won't be a Mac specific
problem and you won't be able to resolve it. Something would have to be
wrong with your Exchange account.

In the meantime, I'm cross-posting your message into the
microsoft.public.exchange.connectivity newsgroup to see if someone there can
offer a solution.
